I drove two hours from Columbia to this park. I felt the time was worth. The park is awesome and supports various recreational activities. The lake is quiet and the waterfall is an exciting place to see.
One of my favorite places to kayak. Can bring your own or rent one. Can swim here too. No alligators around the swim area. Cypress trees are beautiful and can view several species of wildlife here. Picnic areas are plenty and a stroll on the boardwalk around the lake is comforting.

Wonderful place, small quiet, easy access fishing, boating. Come in and just set up in middle of the night. They will come around next morning. Very low cost and 7 miles to middle of town. Very close to golf course.
Absolutely a gem in the middle of nowhere South Carolina Sandhills region. The stay and play rates are well worth the deal. The cabins hold 4 people a peice and r very reasonably priced. And the course.....always in great shape and a great track for beginners or scratch golfers. In my top 3 courses on the entire South.
Wonderful. A place for the whole family or just a couples get away. Cozy cabins, affordable, with all the comforts of home. A nice flea. Lake and swim area, canoe rentals, boardwalk and amazing golf course.
